CHARTER ETIQUETTE

Tips to make your fishing trip safe and fun

Clothing and Gear: always bring more clothing then you need you could always take off clothes but you can’t put on what you don’t have. Wear comfortable shoes we will be standing a lot and your feet may get tired.

Food and Beverage: I will supply water on the boat, but you are responsible for any other beverage or food you wish to bring. Alcohol is allowed in U.S. water only, please drink in moderation it’s never fun when someone has too much to drink, and becomes a danger for others onboard including the Captain.

Tobacco: tobacco is allowed onboard, however marijuana is not allow onboard the boat. If we are out on the lake and someone starts smoking weed or doing any other controlled substance I will be cutting the trip short with no reimbursement.

Tipping: tipping is customary but not absolute. Some questions to consider when you decide on tipping. Were you made to feel more like family than a customer? Did the captain put you on the fish or work hard at finding the spots. Were your fish cleaned and packaged for you? Did you have a good relaxing time on the water? Does tipping feel like the right thing to do?

Arrival time: Make sure you are on time, and ready to go at the start time. Most of the time, we may have a charter after yours so we cannot extend your trip.
